Ms. Merz joined Specialized Public Finance Inc. in 2009. As an Associate Director, Ms. Merz assists in analyzing and structuring transactions for the firm’s clients. She also handles the preparation and filing of all continuing disclosure materials for the clients in the Austin office.

Prior to joining SPFI, Ms. Merz worked as an Analyst for the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas (“MAC”) from 2007-2009. At the MAC, Ms. Merz was exposed to working with a variety of issuers including cities, schools, municipal utility districts, and college districts in the state of Texas.

Ms. Merz graduated with high honors from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services. She is a Series 50 registered Municipal Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
